This project calls for a Shophouse that will be transformed into a 
‘Modern’ yet ‘Traditional’ 
The vision for this interior design is to use natural materials and to bring in Tradition through Modern design. 
Therefore, materials such as; Timber wood, Stone, Brick, Glass, Grass, and Ceramic were used as these materials are biodegradable and reusable.
These materials also relate to Japanese interior materials as these are most commonly used since the beginning of Japanese Interior Design.
Light colors have been used in the type of wood and concrete to give the house a natural brightness and lesser walls have been used as a divider to give the house an illusion as a much bigger space.
